Next, they have a opening ceremony for the foundation. Sae Byuk then tells her that Min Jung is flesh and blood now, and that she has promised Mi-ok to take care of Sae Byuk. Min Jung explains that she can't live with the fact that MiOk died and she gets to live. They trick Min Jung into coming back to see Sae Byuk, as they told her Sae Byuk is ill. But, Min Jung refuses and ask her to go home. Min Jung is actually in a temple, Sae Byuk tries to convince her to go back home. she wants to set up a foundation to help people see again. Sae Byuk decides to do something good with her inheritance. Later, Mi-Ok's lawyer takes Sae Byuk to a gallery which has Mi-ok's painting. Sae Byuk tries to convince her to come home, but fails. In the end, Mi-Ok looks around for Min Jung, and she passes away.Ī month later, Sae Byuk talks to Min Jung, who is somewhere else, grieving for Mi-Ok's death. Mi-Ok also asks Yong Sook to take care of Sae Byuk and that she's glad Sae Byuk is with good people. Anyway, Sae Byuk decides to donate her bone marrow to her mother in law. (such a lot of people have leukemia in this series). Sae's Byuk's mother in law (Min Jung) also finds out she has leukemia. She tries different ways, but she has leukemia. If you have been following the story, Mi-ok, Sae Byuk's real mother tries her best to help her daughter be happy. Just watch Fated to love you, the Korean version. I do not recommend this Japanese drama at all. You are my destiny is annoying, painful to watch, boring and it has a sad ending. And the actor playing Ichiji Kei couldn't act his way out of a box if you ask me. I feel that the actress playing Aya was painfully miscast. One of the differences between the Japanese and the Korean version is that there's no mention of Huntington's chorea, which plays a big part in the Korean version. It's about a very timid girl, named Aya in the Japanese version, who lets people run roughshod over her.
The Japanese version of Fated to love you follows the same storyline more or less. 'The Japanese version with Takimoto Mioro and Kizu Takumi is refreshing because it let go of the over-the-top acting and side stories.'īut what a waste of time it turned out to be.
